Terms & Conditions

These terms describe the use of the Helping Dost information website and its resources. Arranging a counselling appointment is a separate step, with the professional, fees and service terms confirmed before payment.

Using the website

The website introduces Helping Dost and the counselling professionals it calls Yaarus. It provides general information, public resources and ways to contact the team. Reading a page, using Ask Yaru or sending an enquiry does not create a counselling relationship or confirm an appointment.

Information is not individual care

Articles, self-care kits and assistant replies are general information, not a diagnosis, prescription or personalised treatment plan. A qualified professional should advise on individual health concerns. Stop a self-care exercise if it feels uncomfortable, and seek appropriate support if you are unsure whether it is suitable.

Before arranging a session

Confirm the professional’s background, session format, duration, fee, suitability, privacy arrangements and cancellation terms through the booking channel provided by the team. The website currently has no payment checkout or live availability calendar. Do not assume that an app, appointment or professional is available until confirmed.

Support involving children

For a child or adolescent, a parent or lawful guardian should speak with the team about suitability, consent and how they will be involved. Public information on this website is not a substitute for that conversation.

About Ask Yaru

Ask Yaru is a website guide, not a human counsellor. Its optional AI replies can be incomplete or wrong. Confirm important details with the team. Do not use the assistant to assess symptoms, obtain treatment advice or report an emergency.

Resources and external services

You may read and download the resources made available for personal use. Do not sell, republish or present Helping Dost’s branding or materials as your own without permission, except where applicable law or an express licence allows it. Follow any credit or usage notice supplied with a resource.

Links to social platforms, support directories and other providers take you to services with their own terms and privacy practices. Their availability and content can change. A link does not mean Helping Dost operates that service.

Keeping the website usable

Do not attempt to access private systems, bypass request limits, disrupt the website, upload harmful code or use contact channels to harass others. Do not submit another person’s private health information without appropriate authority.

Availability and important limits

The website may be updated or temporarily unavailable. It is not an emergency response channel, and messages are not monitored for urgent situations. Information should be checked against the current service details before you act on it. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Questions about these terms

Contact partner@helpingdost.com if you need a clarification or wish to report a website issue. A concern about an appointment should identify the booking reference and what happened, without including private session content unless requested through an appropriate channel.
