What this website does
You can read about Helping Dost, browse articles and download self-care kits without creating an account. This website does not take session payments, host counselling calls or collect clinical records through a booking form.
When you contact us
Email and telephone links open the service you choose to use. If you contact the team, your message and contact details become part of that correspondence. Share only what is needed to explain your enquiry; do not send identity documents, private session notes or detailed health histories in an initial message.
Ask Yaru and optional AI
The guided answers work without sending your question to an AI provider. If you choose the optional AI conversation and send a message, that message and the recent conversation context are sent to OpenAI to generate a reply. The website requests that the response is not stored by that API feature; this is not a promise of zero provider retention. Provider security and retention arrangements also apply.
The website does not save an AI chat transcript in its own application database. Messages remain in the current browser conversation while you use it. Do not enter sensitive health information or rely on the assistant for diagnosis, treatment or urgent support.
Article feedback and browser storage
Your Yes/No article choice is saved in your browser so it can be remembered on this device. When shared feedback is enabled, the article identifier and your choice are sent to the feedback service. A pseudonymous identifier cookie can be used to replace a previous vote, and hashed network identifiers help limit repeated requests. The feedback form does not ask for your name, email or health information.
The feedback identifier can last for up to 180 days. Browser-saved choices remain until you remove them or clear site storage. Clearing browser storage does not automatically delete information already submitted to a service. Aggregate article totals are stored separately from the browser choice.
Technical information and service providers
Hosting, email, AI, feedback and font-delivery providers may process technical information needed to deliver their services, such as network addresses, request times and browser information. The application also uses temporary request limits and hashed identifiers to help prevent misuse. Providers may process information outside India, depending on their service configuration.
The website currently loads its typefaces through Google Fonts, which receives the browser request needed to deliver them. Google Fonts is separate from Google Analytics. The website does not include advertising trackers or Google Analytics in its current build. If analytics, payments or additional integrations are introduced, this notice should be updated before those features collect information.
Your choices and privacy questions
You can browse public pages without using the AI option or submitting feedback. You can clear this website’s local storage and cookies in your browser. For information you have sent to the team, write to partner@helpingdost.com to ask about access, correction, deletion or withdrawing an earlier permission. Explain the request without sending additional sensitive information.
The team may need to verify a request and consider any legal recordkeeping requirements. No website can guarantee absolute security. If you think information has been shared incorrectly, contact the team promptly.
Children and parent-supported enquiries
A parent or lawful guardian should contact the team about support for a child before sharing the child’s personal information. This website does not provide a child account or an online parental-consent workflow. A website enquiry does not establish eligibility or consent for counselling.
